Penulisan lirik lagu Lets Shine yang dipilih sebagai official theme song SEA Games 2021 diciptakan oleh seorang musisi asal Vietnam bernama Huy Tuan, yang kemudian dinyanyikan oleh Tung Duong, Van Mai Huong, Ho Ngoc Ha, Isaac, dan Den Vau.
Adapun isi dari lirik lagu Lets Shine sebagai official theme song SEA Games 2021 terinspirasi dari momen indah ketika Vietnam baru pertama kalinya menjadi tuan rumah ajang multi-event terbesar di Asia Tenggara itu pada tahun 2003 silam.
